We're heading into our New Year of amazing women empowering ourselves and each other, through the simple act of DOWN TIME and reciprocal nourishment.

This year make a commitment to your deepest Self and join us at the beautiful Auer Farm in Bloomfield Connecticut, for a Temple Day of beauty and connection.

RED TENT TEMPLE ~ November 20, 2011, Bloomfield, CT

Greetings Women!

Let us gather together at this quiet, rooting time of year, when the land pulls sweetness back into her rocks and soils, and sleep is replete with dreams and dark hours.

Let us sit in sacred circle and soak up the warmth and magic of sisterhood.

Our Red Tent Temple is:

this Sunday, November 20, 2011, from 11:00 am- 5:00 pm.

Circle from 3-5 is closed, only available to those are present. Please try to arrive before 3, as the doors are locked at 3 to protect our time.

We need more women to attend - help us spread the word! On facebook, by forwarding this link to others, using our fliers, or by bringing a friend. Thank you!

This Sunday we need women to come with:

1) Soup to share, or simple foods for the kitchen table

2) your own dishes and mug

3) your blanket, pillow, and slippers

4) a donation for the space ($5 - $30+)

5) an object for the community altar (you take this back home afterwards)

ADDITIONALLY THIS MONTH WE NEED DONATIONS OF:

6) Red Candles that are unscented and contained in a heat proof jar

7) Durable plastic storage bins with fitted lids

8) HELPERS in the morning for set up, 9am!

Red Tent Temple ~ Exquisite Success

When women gather, magic happens. Sunday's time in our first red tent was just that. Thank you to all the women who came, participated, and engaged. The room was infused with a deep vibrancy of women's truth.

The kitchen bubbled over with pots of delicious, nourishing soups and teas. The tears bowl received the letting go, which later watered the garden. Women shared counsel, silent moments of support, serendipitous moments of meeting or reading just the right words from a book picked up. Women took time to hug, to breathe, to write, pray, and do exactly what it is they needed.

During circle, we journeyed to our wombs and took the time to communicate with her, ask her what she needed, and to welcome and honor her wisdom. We passed the talking bowl and let out the buried words, fears, angers, and hopes.

We need time to assimilate, to be inside a chrysalis. To acknowledge our womb-cycle. The world cannot benefit from more stress, only from our centered, dream-connected, charged being.

Welcome Red Tent, to the New Millennium. You've been crumbled, rejected, ignored, and discarded.

No more! Every month on or near the new moon, there will be more and more of these red rooms, these temples of timeless wisdom. Welcome Maidens, Mothers, Crones, healers, weavers, all.
